12/1/25 First Blog Entry and Stranger Things Rant
Hello! This is like a little test entry/establishing entry. I am dislexic and HTML doesnt have a spell checker lol, so this may be a bit rough. I probably won't use this blog a lot, but when I do I may use it just to chat about fandom stuff/random things im interested in that my IRLs don't gaf about. I guess I can start it out with what has been occupying my brain recently, Stranger Things! I have always believed that Will Byers is the main charcater, and this seasnon (season 5 so far) has just confirmed that and I'm so freakin syched!!! I love Will hes awesome. I relate to him a lot as an artist and someone who feels sort of estranged from my peers. We have the same MBTI (INFP!) so thats pretty fuckin sick. I am also a Byler shipper so this season has been pretty awesome in that way too :p I do have a few predictions other than canon Byler (fingers crossed) which is that either Will or El will die, and that Dustin will die. (SEASON 5 SPOILERS HERE BTW!!!)I have my Will or El theory because I think the Duffers will want at least one of the "magical" people to die via some sort of sacrifice in exchange for the death of Vecna. In season 4 we see that El created the upsidedown, I think it would be most fitting for her to have to sacerafice herself as Will was not really involved untill Vecna started kidnapping people. In S5 EP4 we see that Kali is now back/involved in the story, but I do not think she will be used in this way as she has only had like 40 minutes of screen time. A Kali death would not hit home like a Will or El death would. We do know that at least someone important will die based off interviews and other hints the actors and Duffers have dropped. I think Dustin will die basically just based of everything thats been happening this season. Hes becoming a sort of bullying martyr and his frendships are straining creating tention between the groups. Dustins storyline so far is also paralleling Max's storyline last season whihc is interesting. If I know TV at all these signs point towards a dramatic death for Dustin. I was talking with a classmate today about it, she though they would kill off Steve, I dissagree. Killing off steve would just feel like a repeat of Eddie, Dustin has already had a mentor die. Steves death would not create any character growth oppritunites for anyone other than maybe Nancy, and would just feel repetitive in the kids stories. ok I'll cut this off here lol BYEEE
